Masochist v. Pain Slut

There are times when a bottom is being flogged, paddled, or caned, where he or she is feeling pain but wanting the session, and/or just trying to endure it for their Dominant.

The sub or slave feels the pain. It hurts, and then it turns to pleasure.

The pain hurts, and as it goes on each stroke or whack then it turns to pleasure, and then he or she wants that pain so that pleasure is continual.

The bottom craves to feel the pleasure he or she derives from the pain. He or she becomes a slut for the pain.

So, I believe that is a pain slut.

A pain slut takes the pain and turns it into great, intense pleasure and becomes a slut for that particular pleasure.

I believe a masochist craves pain and wants to feel it. I suspect the masochist wants to feel as each lash of the flogger hits him or her, each stinging strike of the cane, each hard thud of the heavy paddle. They want to feel the pain pound through them each time the implement strikes their flesh.

He or she wants to feel the pain.

He or she feels that pain, crave the pain, and need it, however, they don't believe that they get pleasure from it. Because he or she suffers and they enjoy that suffering, even though they are certain it would be hard to tell they are enjoying suffering.

It probably appears that they are in pain.

I guess my bottom line-definitions are that a pain slut turns the pain into pleasure and then wants that pleasure derived from pain.

Whereas, a masochist craves to feel the pain for its own sake.
